Following two memorable nights at the Bedroom Bar, Musicality
moves down the road to it’s new home at The Gramaphone,
one of Shoreditch’s best underground basements. The
collaboration between Papa Records and
Mickey Blanco's Visions camp has so far
been an exciting one and now with the new venue in place
the plan to give London’s soulful community something
different.
Resident djs Matt L-S and Mickey
Blanco will again be setting the tone for the night
ahead playing everything from deep soulful house through
to broken beats covering all the angles and you may even
see a bit of soul n funk thrown in for good measure! Be
sure to expect all the latest and forthcoming releases on
Papa and the most upfront Japanese imports that Mickey plays
on his weekly Tuesday night radio show on Global
soul Radio www.globalsoulradio.com
Joining our residents for this month’s session we’re
thrilled to have Groove Assassin joining
us and helping us to settle into our new space. Groove Assassin
is Nick Moss and is one of the most underrated djs on the
soulful house scene but manages to keep one of the most
busy dj schedule around with regaular trips to New York
and Europe.
In the studio Nick has produced records for some of the
best soulful house labels on the planet including NRK,
Deep Haven, Jellybean,
4th Floor, Soul Heaven
and is just in the process of finishing more material for
Camio and Defected including
a remix of the classic ‘God Made Me Funky’.
We look forward to welcoming Nick on the 16th and I’m
sure we’ll be treated to an extra special set!
